UNA Sacramento United Nations Day - Nurturing Peace: Food Insecurity

Join us for the biggest event of our year as we celebrate the UN Day 2022 theme of Nourishing Peace!

We are excited to host a lively event in honor of local food banks and with a keynote speech by Dr. Amanda Crump of UC Davis. Dr. Crump is a Professor of International Agricultural Development and her comments will focus on the critical intersection of food security and global peace.

Bring canned or shelf-stable food donations to support local efforts to address food insecurity in the greater Sacramento region. All donations will go to benefit local food pantries.

When: Sunday, October 23rd, 2:00 - 4:00pm
