We are proud to present the fourth in our "Global Goals Local Leaders" speaker series.
Throughout this event series, we will be champion the Sustainable Development Goals -- and explore how local leaders are making these goals a reality in our own community.
This month, the forum will focus on Sustainable Development Goal #4: Quality Education.
Our panel of policy experts, advocates, and practitioners will explore the innovative interventions and practices that are being deployed in Sacramento to improve equity in - and access to - education at all levels.
Attendees will have the opportunity to network, ask questions, support the efforts, and learn about the progress that is being made.

We are thrilled to announce a partnership with the Sacramento Literacy Foundation.
In addition to being honored as a special guest at the upcoming “Global Goals Local Leaders” event, we will also kick-off a joint book drive to benefit the Tk-2nd grade students they work with.
In addition, we are excited to spotlight Lace Up For Learning.
This nonprofit was started by five 8th grade friends in order to raise money for Sacramento schools and teachers in need.
The friends met on their middle school cross country team and they believe in the value of community, the importance of education, and the power of running.
