This is what advocates look like
One of the UNA’s core missions is to conduct engage in advocacy with our congressional representatives. This purpose is enshrined in our organizational founding and is based on the principle that one of the chief ways to support the United Nations is through holding our own elected officials accountable for their promises. Our Chapter is proud to work with local and national elected officials to advocate for the principles, work, and programs of the United Nations — both for the role they play in making the world a better place and because support for the United Nations aligns with our country’s own national security, financial, moral, and political interests.
